diving

This morning I went on a diving trip. I remembered how to breathe with the respirator and how to swim calmly past sharks, rays, and eels. The fish were stunning. I like to pretend that I am like Jacque Cousteau. My favorite was the immature Delphies that looked as though they had neon lights along their sides. I saw one bright orange seahorse. I saw a sea turtle, too.

The day is too pretty to sit very long at this computer in an internet cafe. I leave the beach on Friday, so now I will return to my favorite spot to swim and to study Spanish in the shade of the trees.

Glad you remembered how to breathe. Sounds like you are having a great time. The ocean and humidity seems a long way away being here in Placitas. Looking forward to hearing more of your travels.
