fall

The waning sickle of moon rose in the deep blue, pre-dawn sky. The shorter days are brilliant and precious. I postponed homework on Wednesday and sailed at Cochiti. I plan to sleep out with the trees and starry nights a few more times before it is too cold. I am enchanted by the beauty of nature.

Also, I am enjoying the rehearsals of the college chorus. I practice at home with the piano and still some of the music is quite challenging. Tricky rhythms, odd intervals, and non-English syllables.

Much of my time is spent doing the usual housekeeping and course-work. I have a lot of reading and writing to do for my classes. Mentioning this here isn't very interesting. However, it is my excuse for not writing in my blog. I need to focus on school assignments today so that I can go camping tomorrow.
