Some trees blew over, taking out electricity and telephone connections. The school had no internet or telephone for about nine days. Today we have internet and sunshine.
Yesterday I had my first encounter with a living scorpion. It dropped onto the bed as I lifted my dress to put on over my head. I was glad it dropped onto the bed instead of me. Now, I shake clothing carefully.
The internet is incredibly slow as teens crowd the computer room during the school recess. So, I´ll write more later.
